The other night we watched the third Star Wars film. I am enjoying them, Sands finds them a bit too "samey". However we watched this film in Sands Den (formally the media room).
I had recorded the film off Sky + onto my Mac mini via the TV Max. The movie was then streamed across the wireless network to Sands iMac, where we watched it via dual screen on the Sony TV.
This is pretty cool stuff, and a little necessary at the moment until I sort out the issue of connecting my Mac mini to the TV

Sands has had her new 20" iMac for a couple of days now. The 2GB RAM, 250GB hard drive and 256MB VRAM really scream along at an awesome pace, all delivered on an extremely cool screen, in a really sexy chasis!
If you look closely you will see the wireless keyboard and mouse, the iPod Nano on the right hand side (the iPod Mini is hidden on the left hand side next to the Palm T3), the extrenal drive backing up on schedule with Carbon Copy Cloner, and the ultra sexy IPEVO Free-1 Skype phone. A very sexy and neat looking set up even if I say so myself :-)
At the moment she is just getting to grips with it and sorting out her iCal, Address Book, bookmarks etc but so far she absolutely loves it!!!!!
