My father has just got back to Clearwater from Orlando with the gift below - for himself. Proof if ever it was needed that we always remain little boys at heart!!
Enjoyed the book a lot - insightful and a clever way of getting the "message" over. Hasn't turned my world upside down or anything like that but some 'food for thought' neveretheless.
What next? No idea at this stage. I have one book to read to review so I should do that this week - especially as I have about 3 other books to review "on their way"

Apparantly this is my wifes sisters book that she is taking back to the UK in June so this is my only real chance to read it. As I enjoyed The Zahir I see no reason not to.

Finished this - really, really enjoyed it. Clever, deep and meaningful but "A Novel of Obsession"? Nope - A Novel of Discovery is a much more accurate description.
Going to take a break until at least after the weekend before I select anothr book as I have at least two technical books that I need to finish off so I can review them.

Has been a while!! Moreno has a few new favourite pastimes:
- he just loves to play with the feather duster when we clean,
- now we aren't feeding doves on roof as much a few are coming down to my study window to feed, which of course he loves!, and
- he goes mad with an old sock of mine. He is almost like a dog. In this movie he is jumping through the window after the sock, carrying it around the balcony and in through our bedroom patio windows, before dropping it back at my feet! I am afraid the quality isn't that good - but they are short and funny!
And as it has been a while here are a few pictures of Moreno and the Rock Doves:
