It turns out I'm not leaving until tomorrow morning. I have to leave early enough to get back in time for my 1pm clinic... so much for starting in on my translation projects first thing Monday, but honestly I'd rather spend more time with my Miaos.
I'll have time to bake Papa Miao a chocolate cake like I promised.
Prince T will help!
This recipe is simple enough even for me to handle.
1 pound lentils, cook & drain (1 lb = 2 1/3 cups dry)
1/4 cup parsley (dry)
3 cloves garlic
3/4 cup lemon juice
1 cup canola oil (or other oil)
1 tablespoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons salt
Cook and drain the lentils. Then mix all the other ingredients together with the lentils and refrigerate.
This clip is a year old..cracks me up though.
Luke always spent xmas with me and the kids, then with us when I married.Xmas 2007 he brought Nikki home to meet the family. Wearing an eye patch and experiencing double visiona nd headaches. The following week he was to have the MRI scan.
I spent the last week alone. The kids got back at 4pm so this afternoon was nice.I needed the break and the fact it was xmas really wasn't an issue.
Merry Christmas friends and here's hoping for some good times in 2010.
I'll ;leave you with some Xmas tunes..

This is Sylvie's favourite. We have to watch it before bed every night. She nearly knows all the words.
